This large-scale abstract artwork was created using a blend of natural French pigments and sand collected from Gumbaynggirr Country in Australia. It is a piece for those, like me, who are constantly drawn to the presence of water — to its energy, its memory, its promise of renewal.

The Beach as Ambition is an aquatic connection: an invitation to immerse oneself, to feel surrounded by the movement and stillness of the ocean. Its generous size allows for a meditative, almost physical experience of water through colour and texture.

As a French-Australian artist working with organic materials, I explore themes of belonging, nature, and longing for fluidity in both body and spirit.
