International Abstract Artist |
Poet | Curator | Founder of Mira Corbova Art Gallery | Creator of Art & Emotion
ARTIST STATEMENT
Mira Corbova is an international abstract artist, poet, and curator whose work transcends aesthetics to explore the emotional and spiritual dimensions of human experience.
“Art is my DNA—I cannot exist without it.”
Born in Slovakia, Mira’s creative journey began in early childhood and was internationally recognised at age 11 at the International Children’s Art Show in Tokyo. With formal training in art, photography, and business management, she brings a unique blend of emotional depth and professional expertise to her work.
Now based in Sydney, her abstract paintings are deeply intuitive—vibrant visual expressions that connect to the soul. Many works are paired with original poetry, offering collectors an immersive and healing experience. The use of gold paint and gold leaf symbolises spiritual growth, light, and abundance. Several pieces can be rotated for different orientations, allowing for an evolving interaction.
“Intuitive art speaks when words have no form. My poetry emerges in the moment of creation or just before—capturing the emotional heartbeat of each piece.”
Mira is working on her upcoming book will bring together paintings and poetry from her last seven collections, exploring the role of art in emotional healing, spirituality, and personal transformation.
