Mira Corbova – Artist Biography & Exhibition History
Mira Corbova is an internationally celebrated abstract artist whose vibrant, emotive works seamlessly merge colour, emotion, and storytelling. Known for her distinctive style that embodies transformation, growth, and the healing power of art, Mira has sold over 200 original pieces globally, each resonating deeply with the soul.
Born in Slovakia, Mira studied art and photography, earning a master’s degree before deciding to explore the world. At the age of twenty, she moved to the UK, where she spent over a decade in London, working, travelling and participating in several art exhibitions. After relocating to New Zealand, Mira’s artistic career blossomed over the next decade, gaining widespread recognition for her distinctive style, vision, and gallery work. In 2024, Mira relocated to Sydney, Australia with her engineer husband, and the diverse environments she has experienced have profoundly shaped her art, enriching her perspective with a broad, culturally diverse influence.
Mira’s art celebrates the transformative power of creativity and healing, inviting viewers to connect with her works on a deeply emotional level. Through her expressive use of bold colours, intricate forms, and the integration of poetry, her collections explore change, positivity, and the potential for personal growth. Mira has earned wide acclaim from collectors, curators and art lovers. Her work has been showcased in London, Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Dunedin, and Slovakia, among other locations. A passionate artist, events organiser and curator, Mira has played a significant role in the global art community, collaborating with fellow creatives worldwide and establishing herself as a leading figure in contemporary art.
